#11. Goalkeeper – Dino Zoff
Before Gianluigi Buffon there was Dino Zoff. An Italian goalkeeper who seemed to play for decades and one of the greatest footballers the country has ever produced. Like most players on this list, he is best remembered for the moments he created at the FIFA World Cup. He spent his club career with Juventus and Napoli as well as making over 100 appearances for the Italian National Team. Zoff travelled to four World Cups but had to wait until his final tournament in 1982 to taste victory. He made an exceptional save in the quarter final match against favourites Brazil before lifting the trophy himself as captain. He remains the oldest player to lift the trophy.
