#2. Roger Milla: Age 43
An outfield player! Roger Milla produced one of the most memorable moments in World Cup history in 1990 when he scored four goals at the tournament, celebrating each one by dancing around the corner flag. He wasn’t exactly well known in Europe prior to that but is now rightly regarded as one of the best African footballers of all time. Milla also played in the 1994 World Cup for Cameroon where he became the oldest player to ever appear in a World cup match at the age of 42 years and 1 month. It was a Group B match against Russia which, unfortunately for Milla during his final World Cup appearance, finished 6-1 to the Russians.
