#5. Dino Zoff: Age 43
Now here’s a legendary player. Dino Zoff is the oldest football to ever win the World Cup when, at the age of 40 years and 4 months, he played for Italy in their 3-1 victory over West Germany in the 1982 World Cup final in Spain. Before Buffon there was Zoff. The goalkeeper started his career with the National Team in 1968 and his 112 international appearances makes him the fifth most-capped player in Italian history. Domestically he played for Udinese and Napoli, but is best known for the 11 years he spent at Juventus where he won 6 Serie A titles and the UEFA Cup. Zoff also won the 1968 European Championships with Italy and even returned as manager, guiding his country to the 2000 Euros final.
