#10. Joseph Antoine Bell: Age 43


Joseph Antoine Bell was 39 years and 8 months old when he played for Cameroon against Brazil at the 1994 World Cup in the USA. The goalkeeper was voted African Goalkeeper of the Twentieth Century and carved out a successful career in Europe. After leaving African football in 1985, he spent the rest of his professional career in France with a variety of clubs including Marseille and Bordeaux. In all, the goalkeeper made 52 appearances for Cameroon between 1977 and 1994 including appearances at three different World Cups. Bell was also a part of the Cameroon teams which won the 1984 and 1988 Africa Cup of Nations.
