#2. Field Mill: 1861
Field Mill has been hosting football matches since 1861 but the ground is thought to be even older than that. It is has been the home of Mansfield Town since 1919 but played host to a number of football clubs before that. Field Mill is so named after a large textile mill which was built nearby. The mill is no longer there but the name remains. Field Mill Football Club was one of the clubs which once occupied the stadium during its turbulent past. Field Mill now has a capacity of around 10,000 which is more than enough for League Two side Mansfield Town.
