#6. Diego Costa
He’s hardly the most popular player outside of Stamford Bridge so whenever Diego Costa is upset it’s usually something for the world to enjoy. There is one main example of the forward being brought to tears but this is before he went to Chelsea and cemented his reputation as the Premier League’s wind-up merchant. In 2014 Atletico Madrid travelled to the Camp Nou knowing a win would win them the La Liga title, just seven days before a Champions League final against Real Madrid. Costa had been struggling with a thigh injury but started the match for Atletico, lasting just 14 minutes before being substituted. He sat on the bench and wept like a defeated man despite the fact that Atletico went on to win the match and secure a historic league title.
