#5.Emirates Stadium, London – £390 million
After much debate, Arsenal finally moved out of Highbury and into a new stadium in 2006. The Emirates Stadium is located just 500 yards away from their old ground and is considered one of the best new stadiums in Europe. The ground has a capacity of over 60,000 and ran a cost of £390 million in construction. A lot of this has been recouped from things like naming rights and sponsorship deals, and the increased match day revenue has undoubtedly helped the club. The stadium has hosted a number of concerts and matches for the Brazil National Team since 2006 alongside all of Arsenal’s home matches.
