According to the (Express), Tottenham Hotspur are hot favourites to sign Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez. Bookies think Tottenham may pull of one of the craziest transfer deals in football history by signing Chile and Arsenal winger Alexis Sanchez. Ladbrokes has them second favourites with PSG and Juventus ahead but they seem to be the only ones.
Alexis Alejandro Sanchez born on the 19th of December 1988 in Tocopilla, Chile started his youth career with Cobreloa in 2004. He signed his first professional contract with the club in 2005 spending 1 season scoring 9 goals in 47 games.
He was signed by Udinese in 2006 where he eventually made his name. Although he spent around 5 years at the club he only managed to play 95 games scoring 20 goals. In all fairness he was loaned out twice, once to Riverplate and once to Colo-Colo. He was eventually signed by Spanish Giants Barcelona in 2011 for 26 million euros and quite surprising they made a decent profit by selling him to Arsenal. Although he was more experienced after playing for Barcelona
He was then signed by Arsenal in 2014 for £31.7 million. His Arsenal career has hardly been a flop, scoring 47 goals in 92 games is hardly a disappointment considering he was playing in the worlds most competitive and most entertaining league.
