A major investor in Manchester United, he’s the man who has almost 98% of the voting rights in the club with his 7.85% stake at the football club. Soros is particularly known to have burned up all of the available resources in England and while the Glazers are the official owner of the club for all intents and purposes, technically speaking- he should have the last say on the matter. It was him who took Old Trafford club to the public, during which time the club enjoyed a remarkable profit. He himself took $100 million from his share in the company and in just 6 months, the club’s stock surged 33%.
