#10. Yaya Toure
One of the best midfielders of this generation, Yaya Toure had to fight extreme poverty in his early childhood. According to the Ivorian, he didn’t had enough money to purchase his own football shoes even at the age of 10. While Toure continued to play in such hardships, that didn’t stopped the Ivorian from pursuing his dream of becoming a professional footballer. Having started his youth career with Ivorian Club ASEC Mimosas, it was the Belgian Club Beveren where Yaya Toure made his first appearance as a professional Footballer. And ever since making his debut, the Ivorian hasn’t looked back as he went on to play with the likes of AS Monaco, FC Barcelona and now Manchester City in his illustrious playing career.
