#7. Cappielow Park: 1879
Cappielow Park isn’t exactly a household name but is the home of Greenock Morton F.C., one of the oldest senior football clubs in the world. Cappielow Park was constructed way back in 1879 and has been the home of Morton ever since. The club play in the Scottish Championship. Cappielow Park’s origin story is a little sketchy but it is undoubtedly one of the oldest stadia in the world of football. Back in the early 1900s it was also considered one of the best stadiums in Scotland, playing host to a Home Championship match between Scotland and Wales in 1902.
