Cray Wanderer’s was founded in 1860, making them the first and the oldest football club from the South of England. They made a successful start to playing football in the early 20th century and went on to win the Kent League in 1901-02. However, since then, the club was seemingly at a decline and dropped deep into various amateur leagues since then. However, they retained their semi-pro status in England after winning two London League titles and had also finished as runners-up twice. As a football club however, Cray wanderer’s have never been able to go higher than the 6th level of English football.
