6. Stoke City F.C. (1863)
I’m sure many might instantly recognize this football club. Apart from having players who are, in my honest opinion, way too physical- this football club also happens to be one of the oldest clubs in the world. Fun fact: during their inception, the club was known as Stoke Ramblers FC and not Stoke city. If you ignore the year in which they obtained certifications of the FA, then Stoke City would have been the 2nd oldest club in the history of football. Since they play in the Premier League for quite some time now, the club is officially the oldest club of the Premier League. Amazingly, the club hasn’t managed to win a single major tournament in the first few decades since their inception.
