10. Eliaquim Mangala (Manchester City, £32 million)
Alongside Eliaquim Mangala is Diego Costa (Chelsea, £32 million). Manchester City has a history of being a bully in the summer, and its Saudi owners seem to be desperate in bringing the most high profile players of the world. In a way, they are the Real Madrid of the Premier League (minus the trophies, and fame). Chelsea on the other hand, wanted to have the transfer of the Brazilian changed Spanish striker at any cost, following a successful stint at Atletico Madrid. With a year gone out of his five year old contract with Chelsea, he still has to show his worth in the club. Mangala on the other hand, is the most expensive defender, in the history of English Premier League.
