The Brazilian football team of 1970 had a plethora of talent in the squad. Football greats such as Pele, Gerson, Jairzinho, Rivelino, and Tostao were part of the squad that emerged victorious in the 1970 FIFA World Cup. The team displayed a beautiful brand of attacking football and achieved a perfect record of winning all of their matches in the tournament—6 to be exact! The team brushed aside Italy in the final and won the match 4-1. By doing so, Brazil captured its third World Cup title, which allowed them to permanently keep the Jules Rimet Trophy. The achievements of this team are even talked about fondly in the contemporary era.
