#5. Australia Cricket Team (1999-2007)
The Australian Cricket Team dominated cricket in all formats of the game from 1999 to 2007. In between March 1999 and January 2007, Australia won 25 out of 31 test series that they played–losing just three matches. The team also won the coveted World Cup thrice in that span (1999, 2003, and 2007). In doing so, they became the first team to win 3 consecutive World Cups. They also captured the ICC Champions trophy in 2006. Their record in the World Cup was phenomenal at the time. The team went on an unbeaten streak of 35 World Cup matches, which had begun on 23 May 1999.
