10. Andrea Pirlo
Andrea Pirlo was one of the best footballers in the world, and perhaps he stretched his career a far too bit because of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He hasn’t retired from football yet and is currently playing for New York City FC, but the point is that maybe he should have hanged up his boots a lot earlier now. Pirlo is still a majestic passer of the ball, but in the modern football that requires a lot of pace and stamina- it is highly debatable if he can deliver that amount of physical work rate, now that he’s above 36 and his body isn’t able to keep up with his mind.
