#10. Steven Gerrard
In January 2016, Steven Gerrard became the bookies’ favourite to succeed Jurgen Klopp as manager of Liverpool whenever the German decides to leave, and few Liverpool fans would try and stop their former captain from doing so. Gerrard is currently playing in the MLS with LA Galaxy but spent close to thirty years with the club after signing for the Reds at the age of 7. Gerrard is one of the best players in the club’s recent history and few would doubt his ability to lead his side. Gerrard has shown an appreciation for the tactical side of the game after switching to defensive midfield in his later years but it’s hard to imagine Gerrard managing anywhere other than at Anfield.
