Joey Barton was never the good boy in the pitch, and apparently, he’s even worse when he’s not wearing the football boots. Barton has been convicted not once, but twice for violence. Not only did he ram a fellow pedestrian at 2.00 am in Liverpool causing serious injuries, but was also convicted for assault as well. This time, he served 77 days in prison, but was released on July 2008. It is not surprising to know that Joey’s half-brother Michael was also given life term in prison for being involved in the racial murder of Anthony Walker in 2005.
