Deciding to leave a club like Manchester United must be hard for any player when they know they are taking a step down, and I’m sure for a few players it could demotivate them and they might never reach their top level again. For Javier Hernandez, it was the opposite. It appears as though he’s used the experience to make himself even better and has now gone to Bayer Leverkusen and excelled as their number one striker. Just like Higuain who had to leave Real Madrid, to eventually find himself at Juventus, Hernandez must now surely be on the radar of Europe’s biggest clubs once more.
