#10. Phil Neville
Phil Neville was never the greatest player but made the most of what he had. He never looked like the leadership type at Manchester United with the dominant personalities that were in the dressing room, but a transfer to Everton changed all that. He was given the captaincy under David Moyes and proved himself to be a great leader whilst at the club. It led to a situation where two brothers were Premier League captains with Gary Neville leading Manchester United. It took the Everton fans a bit of time to warm to Phil Neville, but his strong leadership on the pitch earnt their respect.
