Real Madrid superstar James Rodriguez has shown the whole world his frustration with coach Zinedine Zindane this season, as the Colombian called him a ‘motherf*****r’ during an explosive rant after being substituted against Leganes last night. It was only his eighth start in La Liga this season but was brought off after 72 minutes, despite scoring a goal and having an assist.
Deportes Cuatro captured the video evidence, where James can be seen muttering “Motherf*cker! You never give me a full game!” as he walked off the pitch. His annoyance at the substitution was clearly visible and he ignored Zidane before taking a seat on the bench, although he did greet Isco Alarcon who replaced him.
Zidane is well aware of the situation, and played it down when asked at a press conference. “We did not speak about it, but it is normal when you come off,” he said. “You want to play the 90 minutes. So these things can happen, but it’s over now. I will remember just that he played a good game.” The Frenchman added further that he “has nothing against James.”
Last night set a new low for James, who is now the third player with the least minutes in the squad, just ahead of Mariano and Fábio Coentrão. The Colombian is constantly being linked with a summer move to various big clubs, including Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Juventus.
