Is the Premier League still the best league in the world?
The Premier league is by far the most entertaining for most viewers and by far the richest league in the world, but is it still the best league in the world? The Premier League has dominated football ever since it began in 1992 but has it maintained its presence as number one? The Premier League clubs are spending and earning the most money in the world so it’s always going to be a big league but wether it’s the biggest or not is the question. La Liga has the two best players in the world and arguably 3 and 2 out of the 3 best teams in the world the other being Bayern Munich. The Premier league is a lot faster than many other leagues especially La Liga and Seria a but faster is not always better. Not many teams like to keep possession in the Premier League apart from Arsenal, City and Swansea. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like the other teams don’t like to keep possession but that’s not the main attribute to their game.
I can safely say that attending a game in the Premier League will have you off your seat a lot more than a game in La Liga or Seria A unless the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid or Juventus and Roma. La Liga definitely have the 20 teams to match the 20 Premier League teams. It’s just a matter of preference or choice. If you’re into football and you like to watch a beautiful and tactical game of football you would watch La liga or some of the better Premier League teams but if you wanted to watch a very entertaining end to end unpredictable game it would definitely have to be the Premier League. The Premier League is attracting more and more bigger players with the money that the clubs have but is everything at grassroots still working? The big clubs seem to spend a lot of money and the starting eleven is full of players with huge prize tags instead of homegrown talent.
