SourceAccording to (Standard), Chelsea manager will not offer John Terry a contract extention. The Chelsea legend’s current contract ends in the summer, meaning he’ll need to find himself a new team or retire.
John Terry has come close to ending his career a few times, especially last year but eventually decided to remain at Stamford Bridge for at least one more season. For all we know, John Terry may still want to remain at the club but unfortunately for him it’s completely down to the new and very strict boss Antonio Conte.
Although Antonio Conte wants John Terry of the field, he may still want him off it. According to the Standard, John Terry will be allowed to join another club but Chelsea are open to offering John Terry a coaching or ambassadorial role at Chelsea. He has been rumoured to return to West Ham or even a dream move to L.A Galaxy and follow the footsteps of fellow Englishman David Beckham.
This is a very smart move by Chelsea, if they do manage to sign John Terry as an ambassidor or even a coach it will benefit the youth team and team in general to have such a knowledgable and influential footballer like John Terry in the changing rooms.
