Borussia Dortmund’s rising star Emre Mor has admitted his dream to play for Real Madrid one day, although stating that he is currently playing for one of the best teams in the world. The 19-year-old just signed for the German giants last summer, after grabbing headlines due to his performances in Danish Superliga.
Speaking to Turkish newspaper Hurriyet, Mor said, “I want to play for Real Madrid, to be a star. My biggest dream is to one day wear the Real Madrid jersey, even if it is a bit too early for it.” He also talked about his current club situation, calling Dortmund one of the best in the world and that he is “learning a lot.”
Although he expressed the desire to play for Los Blancos, the talented youngster also didn’t rule out the possibility of playing for their biggest rivals — Barcelona. He added, “I know myself and I think I could play for Barcelona, too. When? I do not know yet,” during the interview.
Mor has made 15 appearances for the Bundesliga side since arriving from FC Nordsjælland. He is currently on a five-year contract, tying him down at Signal Iduna Park until 2021. The Danish-born winger also has 10 caps for Turkey, a country he opted to represent due to ancestry.
